Seller Documentation Policy

To maintain transparency, legal compliance, and ensure a trustworthy ecosystem, all sellers on our fashion marketplace are required to submit valid documentation during and after the registration process. This Seller Documentation Policy outlines the types of documents required, their purpose, and the submission process.

1. Mandatory Documents for Seller Registration

All sellers must provide the following documents at the time of onboarding:

  • PAN Card (in the name of the individual/proprietor/company)
  • GSTIN Certificate (if applicable)
  • Bank Account Details (Cancelled cheque or bank statement with IFSC code)
  • Business Address Proof (Utility bill, Rent agreement, or Trade license)
  • Government-Issued ID Proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License of the owner/authorized signatory)

2. Additional Documents (Based on Business Type)

Depending on the business structure, the following documents may also be required:

  • Sole Proprietorship: Declaration of ownership and relevant tax documents
  • Partnership Firm: Partnership deed and authorization letter
  • Private Limited / LLP: Certificate of Incorporation, Board Resolution, and Director KYC documents

3. Verification Process

  • All submitted documents will be reviewed by our verification team within 2–3 business days.
  • Sellers may be contacted for clarification or additional documents if discrepancies are found.
  • Incomplete or falsified documentation will result in rejection or suspension of the seller account.

4. Updating Seller Documentation

  • Sellers are required to update their documents in case of any changes (e.g., new GST number, updated bank account, change in business address).
  • Failure to update may lead to delays in payments or account deactivation.

5. Document Retention and Confidentiality

  • All documents are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized personnel.
  • We comply with all applicable data protection regulations to ensure the safety and confidentiality of seller data.
